Tea...and Sympathy

It snowed on Saturday!!

I went shopping with Meghan and Amy at this beautiful mall in Bellevue, and while we were there it started snowing really hard outside. It snowed for about 4 hours, so by the time we left, everything outside was covered in white. It was so beautiful and awesome. I have never seen snow in real life before, except when I went to Colorado on a school trip (ok, it was a band trip) in high school. This snow was white and fluffy and came down in swirls and it was the coolest thing ever.

Plus, the shopping was awesome.

After that, I indeed got to go to the erotic bakery, and we picked up the GROSSEST looking cake ever. Obviously it served its purpose, but erotic cakes are definately NOT appetizing. So we made an extra cake to bring along too. The party was super fun. There was beer pong, which made me super excited because this is the first grad school party I've been to that didn't involve deep discussions about...anything, really. Unless you count football. We played co-ed teams, and Andrew and I were partners. I sank all but one of our cups in the first round, but in the next round, I did much much worse and we lost. Also, we were drinking coors light, which does not bring out my A game. Anyway, all of Luke's friends were really cool and nice, even the ones who were married :) ha ha

Then, the next morning I woke up expecting a hang-over, but instead, I had a stomach virus! I thought this was going to happen, too, because a few days ago I went upstairs to Elizabeth's to pick up my chair I had brought over for T-giving dinner, and I was up there for about 30 minutes talking to her when she goes "yeah, I've been really sick with a stomach virus..." and I was like oh great. So I came home and disinfected my chair and took a shower but I guess it didn't work. I stayed in bed ALL DAY yesterday drinking liquids and feeling sorry for myself. Lame.

But THEN, last night it was an awesome episode of Desperate Housewive and there was a TORNADO. It was seriously so good and a little scary lol. I'm kind of pissed though because they won't show the next episode until after the writers' stike ends b/c they haven't finished the rest of the season yet.

Anyway, I stayed home from work and school today. It's raining and cold out, and maybe I can catch up on homework and get started on finals stuff. I'm feeling much better and hopefully I will get to eat today.
