My Spanish teacher canceled class this morning for the second time in a row because he's sick. This is awesome because my profs never EVER cancel class (stupid grad school) but now that I got to stay home longer this morning, I sort of feel like the rest of my day should be canceled too. :{P
On top of that, Seth stayed home today too, so now it totally feels like a weekend. Which is great except that I feel like I should be staying home but I KNOW I'm supposed to go to my afternoon class. Fuck.
Plus, the rent is due today and I'm out of checks and the new box hasn't come yet. Double fuck.
Anyway, it's weird how such small glitches in plans make things all frazzled. I need to stop being such a control freak and just roll with it.
I made fajitas last night and the whole wheat organic tortillas I just bought on FRIDAY to use were moldy when I opened them last night. WTF, Trader Joe's? This is why organic is not worth the money sometimes. On the plus side, I found a bag of non-organic Mission tortillas in the pantry that were definitely older, but still good. Yay preservatives! Of course by the time I pulled them out and double-checked them for mold, Seth had already eaten his fajita meat and fixin's, sans tortillas. Oh well.
We are very much behind on our resolution to see a movie each week, but will make up for it in the coming weeks (I know you're keeping count).
My new obsession is playing Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility on Wii. If you have a Wii, or a girlfriend to buy it for, I definitely recommend it. Seth got it for me and we're pretty much both addicted and have been fighting over it.
