Welp. I had my first work-related nightmare. Last night I dreamt that two people, a guy and a girl, came in for advising and it was right when I was getting to the office. But I was like, "sure come on in!" and went into my office and turned on the lights and my desk was in this weird room and all this stuff was in the way, so I ended up turning my desk and table around all weird and I couldn't find anything. And then they kept asking my about foreign language requirements and writing course requirements and I couldn't pull anything up on the computer so I kept going into the next room to get brochures but they were all from the wrong semester and on the wrong subject. Anyway it was noisy and confusing and eventually they just left without saying anything and I felt like a fool. ugh. haha.

Seth is in Lake Charles. His grandma died two nights ago and he got a flight down that left super early this morning. I drove him to the airport at 3am, and when I was driving back I missed the interstate (there was construction!) and ended up taking the super-long way home, which was fine except that it was super dark and there was no one on the road. I got home at 4am, and watch infomercials until I fell back asleep. Which is when I had the bad dream. Anyway his grandma was sick for a while and she was in the hospital all week, so he was kind of bracing for this. It's still pretty sad though, and she was an amazing person. The last time we visited her in LC she tried to give me this vacuum cleaner that she got for a good price because she thought I needed one since she knew I had just moved to Seattle. Seth will be back on Tuesday night.

We were kinda bummed yesterday because of his grandma so we went to the farmers' market and got all kinds of yummy things, like honey, pickles, bread, cheese, and these amazing mussels ($8 for 2 lbs.) and wooly pig sausage, which we loooove. We usually get the bacon, which is a-mazing, but the sausage was just as good. p.s. the guy at the booth was totally way too into his pigs, you could tell, because he kept referring to them as "very special" and gave us samples of pig butter, which was good but tasted like cracklins to me because it's just fat. As we walked away from his booth, Seth was like "I'm pretty sure we just got indoctrinated into something." And I was like, "who cares, wooly pig is f-ing good." We came home and ate a ton of good food and watched West Wing (we're almost done with the whole series, and can get back to movies on netflix). Last night we watched Pineapple Express. It was okay. Some pretty funny parts, and James Franco is hot.

Sorry to hear about Seth's grandma :( But speaking of Lake Charles, we'll be in the LC at the end of March for Primeaux's wedding, are you guys going to be there? It's about damn time we meet up and have some drunken Lake Charles experiences!

We're probably going to shreve for a few days during my spring break week, but I think that's the week before. When is your break and how long are yall going to be in LC??

Spring break for me is the 16-22. Mikey and Steph are staying with us for that week, which is super awesome. We'll just be in LC the 27-29 (come in Friday night, leave Sunday morning), just long enough for the wedding essentially. And a Darrel's special.

DARRELL'S. Yes!
Haven't gotten an official invite for their wedding so we weren't really planning on making a special trip down for it. My break is the 20-29th though so maybe.
