I got off work and came home at noon. I knew Seth was off early today so I cleaned a bunch before he got home. I even stopped at Rite-Aid and got some cleaning stuff (which always motivates me) and the lady who checked me out was all, "I'm not jealous of what you're doing today." So I was kind of proud of myself. I even bought cute tissues look how cute this box is...

So anyway I was home cleaning and Seth called to tell me he's on his way like he always does and he says, "Well I'm going to stop at the store and buy some champagne but then I'll be there," and I'm all "What's the occasion?" And he's like, "You don't remember?" all cute and whatever and I was like OH YEAH because it's totally been ONE YEAR since he moved up here! It's our first year living together, which if you ask me is sort of an accomplishment since I don't share space well...and oh yeah he drove across the country to get here, which I don't know if I would have been able to do if our situations were reversed. haha.
Anyhow, he brought home not only a decent bottle of champagne (not Andre, which I would have been fine with, duh), but also those awesome frosted cookies they always have in the bakery at holidays (these had raspberry frosting) and stuff to make chili dogs :) so we had lunch and watched tv.
Anyway now he's taking a nap and I'm back to cleaning. I heard that vinegar cleans practically everything and kills germs AND mold, so I diluted some and am spraying the whole apartment with it. Which I sort of love since I really like the way vinegar smells. Seth is asleep so he's not complaining. We have weird mold in our apt since it rains here a lot (duh) and we don't have air conditioning so (a) the windows are open May - October and (b) apparently air conditioners also dehumidify your house while they make cool air. So now I think we have to get a humidifier because otherwise mold appears on the windows and the corners near the floor. I've had to throw out a few things that ended up on the floor too long. UM, gross.
One more thing: right now I'm obsessed with Cooking Yourself Thin on Lifetime (shut up). They make these amazing-looking meals that are super healthy, but you still get to have cheese, mayo, butter, and pasta. It's kind of changing my life. I've made a few dishes so far, and they are turning out awesome. Their low-cal lasagna is better than my for-real lasagna, and has just as much (whole fat!) cheese. The recipes are posted online, and of course there's also a cookbook that I think I'm going to order as a graduation gift to myself. Anyway, the show is pretty much what you expect on Lifetime, but the food is really good so far.

I'm totally going to start watching that show. It sounds amazing.
Don't you mean you need a... DE-humidifier?
Because mold grows where it's humid?
I'm confused.
Also, graduations are EXHAUSTING.
Oops! that's what I meant. although I wish it was a humidifier, because those are cheap and come in cute models because kids use them and stuff. Dehumidifiers are huge and ugly and f-ing expensive, unless you get a tiny one, which I don't think is gonna do the job.
Are tim's parents in town? yummm.
