sugar

Fall is here.

There are gorgeous colors everywhere, when there's enough sunlight out to see them. It's been raining like crazy, and it's gotten cold cold cold at night. It sort of just happened all at once.

Jess and Abram came to visit! I was literally having so much fun I forgot to take pictures. And having them here felt like hanging out at home, which I never took pictures for anyway. It was amazing, even though I probably drank too much, definitely ate way too much, probably made fun of Abram's mom too much, and probably should have had a better guest room set up. But they were amazing and gracious and of course crazy fun. We seriously had a blast and it took like 3 days to fully recover. :)

Work is good. The people are great, but things are really slow right now...it's around the middle of the quarter so not much hubbub. It's nice. I keep thinking that I want to start taking classes again in a program, but every time I look through the catalog or sign up for open house, I start to have a panic attack, so it's probably better to wait.

We definitely want to go in for Homecoming. It's probably not going to happen though, since Seth is still unemployed and we're scraping by. He has an interview tomorrow so cross your fingers. Anything would be great at this point.

I'm so fat. I'm getting serious about taking better care of myself. It's hard when I have about $5 to spend on food everyday (except the end of the month, like now, when I have like $2, or whatever's left from the month). I hate getting paid once a month. Seth does an amazing job of making whatever food we have at home stretch for days, but it's probably not the best that we're eating pre-packaged, sodium-filled, just-add-meat-and-water meals. Thank god I get paid Friday.

I love the cold weather. It makes me excited for the holidays.

One of my patients the other day had a Kindle, and it made me think of you. I wanted to play around with it, but I was too busy that day and then she went home :( It looked super cook in person though.

I want one! Or actually, now I want the Nook from Barnes & Noble.
