I just want you for my own

I was going to wait until after finals were totally over to update, but...you got lucky.

Truthfully, I'm thisclose to being done with finals (!!) Yesterday I had my Arabic final in the morning (yes, on Saturday). It was awful and I totally ran out of time. Hopefully the parts I did spend time on will be OK and the rest will average itself out. I studied really hard for this test, and it's frustrating when you work really hard but still don't feel good about it :P. Lame boo.

But then I came home and ate eggs and took a nap watching Seinfeld.

And even better, that night Meghan and I went to Amy's and ate pizza and watched the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (recorded from Tuesday)! I couldn't fully watch it when it first came on because I was studying for that stupid test. But of course it was as amazing and spectacular as I'd hoped it would be (although Heidi is now, officially, overexposed. I mean, she sang). It was the perfect way to de-stress during finals.

Oh, and I showed Amy and Meghan my favorite new On Demand channel -- local pet adoption! There's a whole On Demand section for local services, and you can watch short clips of animals they have at the shelter right now. They have cute little bios about their personalities and their likes and dislikes, like a dating service. So cute! The shelters work really work hard to cut down on returns, and really try to match you with a pet who has a personality that fits your lifestyle. The whole process is really personalized, and so amazing. The adoption fees also include spay/neutering, shots, training class, and microchipping for your pet. They have bunnies, too.

So today, I'm finishing the last of my finals -- a 12-page paper for my 501 class. It's not due til Friday but I'm turning it in tomorrow so I can leave on Tuesday. Honestly, I'm almost finished and wish I could just stop and turn it in, but I'll eat dinner (yum, Bertolli frozen pasta dinner!) and finish editting it before Amazing Race starts. I'm done with class, but tomorrow I have to work from 8-5, pick up some last minute xmas gifts, PACK, pick up my pay check, put Netflix and my mail on hold, return library books, finish cleaning my apartment, and then................get ready to come home! So jazzed. Must remember to throw out the old food and turn off the heat.

Jingle jingle.

I bought an xmas tree. It's made out of purple tinsel, and has built in purple lights. It's about 3 feet tall. It's not really a tribute to UW or LSU football, like others I've seen, and more of a tribute to Prince and glam rock of the 1980's. I just decided. It's gorgeous.
