I just want back in your head

Hellloooo La,

With great props to Amy U. for the early a.m. ride to Sea-Tac airport, and to my daddy for making the drive to Dallas to transport me the rest of the way in, I finally made it home!

And Yep, when I got in, the weather was 80 degrees and 100% humidity. Oh, and it's been raining ever since I got here :) Seth is telling everyone that I brought the rain with me.

So far, I've been to Target, T.J. Maxx, and Drug Emporium, eaten China Dragon, Griff's, Wendy's, and Quizno's (my first fast food in 4 months), went to see "No Country for Old Men" (amazing!) where we ran into JB and Buller :), participated in Wednesday Night Special (and was even called "Roxie" by a very confused Matt Wallace. ha!), witnessed some bad ass Guitar Hero action from Seth and David, played about 15 hours of The Sims (!!) and, the highlight, drank my traditional holiday eggnog daiquiri (it's a seasonal treat). Things. Are. Good.

No joke. I feel so happy and lucky. Nothing makes you appreciate your stupid hometown by going away long enough to forget that how much you wanted to leave in the first place. Oh, and showering at the TKE house is no treat, but getting to laugh at everyone still taking finals makes up for it. Oh, and if you are still taking finals, hang in there.

p.s. A live-action (sort of) version of Alvin and the Chipmunks? Really, Jason Lee?

I'm so glad you're home! Abram and I are trying to finagle a way to be in Shreveport for the I-Bowl. I'll let you know if we're coming for sure!

1. HA HA Matt Wallace.
2. I jealousy-hate you for drinking an egg nog daiquiri without me. I plan to drink daiquiris on New Years Eve until my face falls off and I'm just happy that you'll be there. To drink daiquiri's, that is. Not to watch my face fall off.

I have a feeling all our faces will be off by the end of the night.

Mikey and Steph are staying in Shreveport for New Year's too, now. So, all our faces can fall off WITH the two of them!
