xxx-mas

Ok, so my xmas wasn't "xxx" naughty, or made of moonshine for that matter. But you're still going to hear about it.

This was the first xmas I've spent with Seth, and only Seth :) well, xmas eve and morning, anyway, which is obviously the important part. Yep, we slept in the tke house xmas eve, which wasn't half-bad. We watched holiday episodes of sitcoms and the illustrious Centenary College Choir on television. Magical.

On xmas day, Seth and I visited my parents' house and opened a few presents. I got a new suitcase (so cute! by Kenneth Cole), a puffy vest from Gap that I wanted, a cute short jacket from Black House White Market, and pair of bunny slippers :). Then we went to my g-parents' house where we ate a boatload of food, and my uncle gave me an ipod shuffle. Yeah!

The next day Seth and I drove down to Lake Charles where there were tons more presents, and more food. We had gumbo and sushi and fried seafood and homemade pickled peppers (which I got to bring 2 huge jars of home to make bloody marys with...like the one I'm drinking right now. Yes.). We also went shopping at all the great after xmas sales, and I got these great boots and some great books to read (school? who needs to do homework? not me, dude). All in all it was a cajun christmas adventure.

I seriously have three times as much luggage as when I got here. Bad news for the trip home. I'm going to have to check an extra suitcase, which will make getting home more fun. At least I'll have tons of awesome stuff to unpack when I get there, instead of spending a small fortune trying to ship it.

In the best news ever, tomorrow is the Independence Bowl and everyone ever is coming in town for it. The next day is New Years Eve and I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited! It's going to be great to see everyone again, even if only for a day or two!

I'm leaving for Seattle next Saturday, so that means 6 more days of drinking and goofing off. Let me know if you're interested.
