yup

I was tired of waiting for other people to update their blogs, so I decided to just update mine... :)

Lots of stuff has been happening, which is good. The biggest is that roxie and jared came to visit last weekend! That was mega fun, and it was awesome to see them again :D they even brought presents. It was weird to have people from home in my apartment, but I really liked exploring the city with them! We had a great time, more details to follow. I of course forgot to take pictures again..

School is crazy. Last week was ridiculous: I presented at a conference (went well, the chair of my department came and emailed my panel to say we did a good job :D), took a mid-term in my India class (such a pain, since I had to study while my friends were here), finished two papers (bleh), and presented with Meghan in our religion and politics class about the Iranian revolution (she is the epitomy of organization -thank god- although she denies it). Everything started happening at break-neck speed, and I thought my head would explode.

So I spent the second half of this week recovering from the craziness and getting things back in order. I can't believe it's already May, I'm freaking out. I'm getting excited about the summer and taking classes. I'm also super excited about going down for centenary graduation next weekend...I think it may be my last one :)

Anyway, I think it's going to be a low-key weekend. I still have some things to finish, esp since I'll be gone next weekend and sure as crap don't want to do stuff then. Not only is it graduation, but also Mother's Day and my dad's birthday. I think my suitcase is going to be full of presents..
