Seth graduated!!
Have you ever had a couple of days so amazing that they absolutely defy words and all possible description, and must only be experience to be understood? If not, I apologize because this post is just going to sound brag-y.
Going home for graduation was amazing. I was greeted at the airport (in shreveport, for once) by seth and abram, which was awesome. We promptly drove to Wal*Mart and bought alcohol. Then to the house for an old people party in the yard! Those are my favorite!! Roxie and Tim bought me a huge daiquiri, which I drank way too fast because I was dehydrated from my flight...but it was so great to see everyone! Mikey now drives a mini-van as his company car, (which definately came in handy later) and that's hilarious. It was so good to talk to people my head was like spinning.
So, many drinks later, seth and i crawled into bed. The next morning he woke up early for graduation...I could barely open my eyes! I finally crawled into the shower at around 10 (graduation was at 1030) and finally started to feel human. I ate some ritz cheez sandwich crackers that I found in his room and drank a Dr. Pepper..much better. Made myself presentable and walked to the dome.
I met up with my parents and we sat with Lisa and Stacy. It was crazy crowded too...I forgot how small the dome is when people actually fill it. Graduation was terrible, but seth looked amazing and i was so proud of him. When he walked across the stage he actually hugged dr. colson, who was reading the names, which I think startled him a little bit. Ha ha. He was so excited I seriously wanted to cry.
Then we went to lunch with my parents, and both sets of his parents at Oyster Bar. I ordered and tried to eat all my favorite foods, but it was no use, I was still too sick! I ate some, though, and it was amazing...Lunch was really fun, I'm glad my parents were there. I think our parents really hit it off, which was nice :)
After, we changed then people decided to meet up at Superior. So, this is when things start to get a bit hazy for me, so here's what I remember:
-Starting out at the bar, drinking margaritas as people show up. Seth decides that we should all just switch places once in a while so we get to talk to different people. I talked to Steph, Darren, then Amy, then..
-seeing more people show up. talking in random conversations.
-telling my friends that I want to make out with their girlfriends
-scratching scott's head (ahh)
-gossiping
-drinking bloody marys
-seeing one of my friends from high school walk by, hugging her, realized she now works with my mom, talking with her about how much we love my mom
-texting
-being in the aforementioned minivan was scott and megan driving, with them both looking back at me with weird looks on their faces...ha ha
-sitting in pie works eating pizza
-pie works bathroom
-dropping my phone....a LOT (it still works!)
-more texting
-realizing that i forgot to close my tab at superior (I KNOW...total clarity out of NOWHERE)
-driving back to superior with steph, this time it was crazy crowded
-riding back to the house
-going upstairs to drink water
-laying on the back deck, and it started raining
At one point, I had seth's keys, and lost them. We both woke up really early sunday (me because of the hangover, him because someone rang the doorbell downstairs). We started looking for the keys. Seth looked EVERYWHERE and I started texting people to see if they had them. He found them in a packed cardboard box full of books in his room. Yeah, dont ask me cause I dont know.
Sunday was mother's day. My parents came by and I gave them presents and we said goodbye. Went to lunch with jason, kristin, and abram. We had to try like 4 different places to find somewhere open/without a huge line. Ended up getting greek food...yum!
Back to the house. Fell asleep on seth's lap.
Woke up and went to the airport...trip over.
When I landed in seattle it was cold and rainy. Also, my cab driver didnt take cards and I had EXACTLY enough cash to pay my fare...so I couldnt tip, and felt AWFUL. I was sort of obsessed over it but I think that was the dehydration talking. Going back to work on monday was BEYOND depressing. I missed everyone so much. I hate being so far away from people. BUT the good thing is that seth is moving up here next week! so life, for now, is tolerable :)
In seriousness, I figured out what I want my major to be, picked my classes for the summer, devised a plan to graduate at the end of next year, and was told I'm being considered for an RA-ship this summer for the director of my program. Also, Amy and Meghan and I went to happy hour at the best mexican place and it was really sunny today.

Sooooooooo... can I just copy and paste your blog post on my blog and change all the names? Because I'm that lazy, but our weekends were also that similarly awesome.
How's it been with Seth home??
