Yeaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
We spent Labor Day weekend in Austin with the Longnutzers, and it was super fantastic. We flew out on Thurs morning, and got back this morning. We flew out at 8:30, but when we landed it was only 10:30, so it was sorta like time travel, which I love. Anyway, the weekend went something sorta like this:
TEXAS hot hot beer mexican food Longnutzer house hot bar-b-que beer hot driving driving Barkley/John house beer driving where-did-Parham-go? beer putt-putt more mexican food shuffleboard shuffleboard beer beer beer cider Draught House beer whiskey Guitar Hero exploding toilet Abram doesn't like dookie beer more shuffleboard more mexican food italian food beer driving...
ha ha. Every restaurant we went to was DELICIOUS, and my love affair with Mexican food was most definitely rekindled. GOD I miss good mexican food and bar-b-que. So, yeah, I was in heaven.
I also rekindled my love affair with having awesome friends to talk to in PERSON. I think we were crazy overstimulated at first. I feel like I didn't stop laughing the whole time, except when I was about to pass out from exhaustion..from fun. No seriously, why do we live so far away?
Anyway it was great, and I got back just in time to move out of the studio. I am extremely super jazzed about moving (we're getting a new kitchen floor! and faucets!), but not even a little excited about paying more rent. I severly underestimated how much moving would cost. and it's bumming me out (post-vacation high is evaporating). I'm so glad Seth is working this week...life is about to get a lot easier, so thank god for that.

Jealous. Jealous. Jealous. Jealous. Also, why DO we live so far apart? Like, could we possibly live any further apart and what the hell is wrong with us?
I KNOW. I propose we hold some sort of consortium in a few years to figure out which city is best for us to all move to.
I accept said proposal and will see you in approximately 5 years. I vote for Austin, with summer vacays in Seattle?
