- Being incredibly late for our flight at the Seattle airport, and almost not getting our luggage in our plane...then seeing it arrive at DFW when we did. Whew. It was a Wedding Weekend miracle.
- Driving in from DFW, and stopping at DAIRY PALACE for burgers, fried mushrooms, chicken fried steak, and fried okra. This is when I knew this weekend was going to be amazing.
- Showing up for the rehearsal and getting to see the library and chapel with all the xmas lights on. Forget that it was freezing ASS and we had to wait outside 30 mins for the candlelight service to end. Pretty.
- Drinking eggnog daiquiris with Steph, Jess, and Jess's crazy relatives. haha. We went through the line and ordered 4, then forgot we were supposed to get one for Roxie so we ordered one when the lady came back to the window. She was like, "oh I had poured an extra by mistake! Here ya go!" Wedding Miracle No. 2! (Roxie, I drank yours. haha)
- Drunk voicemails from Jared to come to Ivan's ("come 'ere! comeerecomerecomere!")
- Saturday tea at Glenwood. Amazing food...the rest was interesting. Email me if you want my take on it. lol
- Target trip (slash gossip sesh) with Roxie!
- Saw the parents. They were so excited and cute. The house looks amazing. Mom painted the front hall dark red, like she's been planning for YEARS, and they bought this amazing coffee table from World Market that I covet.
- Wedding was gorgeous, and short. Abram's face when Jess walked down...priceless. She looked amazing, and I love when she walked in and people all around us were like "omg!"
- (Seth also looked amazing and did not pick his nose at all. haha)
- Sitting next to Donald at the wedding...also priceless. ("Kacie I have a girlfriend now, did I tell you?")
- Reception was great. The food was awesome. I forgot to eat the cake! Allison Austin was wearing this dress from J. Crew that I fell in love with months ago and wanted for the wedding (before I realized it would look ridiculous on me, and I could never afford it). She of course looked perfect in it. Jealz.
- Scott Lerchie walked up to me at the reception, didn't say anything, took my drink out of my hand, and made me scratch his scalp for 10 mins. haaaaa.
- Getting a million compliments from people about how Seth "cleans up nice" and "looks sooo good." Swear to god, I can't take responsibility. He just has to look that way for work (and loves it).
- Went to Noble Savage (Tim: "I bought you a shot of rum! But Ricky drank it!"). Left my black coat behind. Fail.
- Four words: TKE House Dance Party. One of the new JI's figured out I was a sweetheart ("Kacie LOPEZ??" "um, yes." haha) and handcuffed himself to me. Danced for god knows how long with Jared, Mat, Amy, Allison, Thurston, and Donald. And yes, I was sore the next day (actually still am). Pretty sure I said embarrassing things. But I got back to the hotel in one piece, thanks to seth, like usual.
- Popeye's for breakfast on the way out of town the next day :)
This trip couldn't have come at a better time, either. All last week I was just this ball of stress and bitchiness because of finals and trying to get everything together for the trip. But it was like as soon as our plane touched down in Dallas (or actually, when we saw our bag come off that luggage carousel) I just felt happy, and calm, and excited. I know Seth had been a bit stressed too, about giving a toast and everything. Anyway, it could NOT have been a more beautiful weekend, all around.
Update: Noble Savage actually called me back yesterday and they totally have my coat! haha. My mom is totally picking it up for me. Weekend officially a success.

Wedding miracles #3-8273: We got to San Juan and back in one piece and with all our bags. I believe we have those eggnog daiquiri's to thank.
It was destiny. The planets wanted this weekend to be amazing.
