BUT, I am feeling much better today. And I did clean the entire kitchen yesterday, so I'm not as restless today. The good news is that we're off on Monday for MLK Day, so I can catch up on things and finish getting healed.
Mostly, I just feel disgusting. And I'm pretty sure I look like this:
So, we haven't bought tickets to go to shreve for Homecoming, like we had planned. Tickets were just more expensive than we'd thought, and even though we would love to go, I don't think we will. Unless something miraculous happens. On the plus side, Seth can save his vacation days for when people come visit this spring. I still might go somewhere for a few days over spring break, though.
Speaking of money, I'm realizing that being broke has become like second nature to me. I recently got my student loans/stipend for the quarter, and I have a bit left over after tuition and books, even after I caught up all the (immediate) bills, and I have no idea what to do with it. My urge is to spend it on something (plane tickets, new furniture, small things we need), but shouldn't I be saving? It's not much, but should I putting extra money away when I can, or using it to pay off my debts as fast as possible?

1. The picture of Sloth made me lol.
2. I totally updated my budget after my vacation and learned two things: A)that taking two months off is bad for your budget and B) that because of my raise I have more spending money (kind of but not really because of item A) and I don't know what to do with it either.
I have the same problem. Savings account? Pay off debt immediately? WTF? Why is this stuff so hard? Stupid Suze Orman would probably tell us to do something insane like install leather ottomans in our yachts to increase their market value.
I think the solution to all my problems is just to shut up and make more money. And all of this is moot until I finish school anyway (and at this point I'm probably going to be, like, 50, when that happens, but at least the economy will have recovered). In the meantime I'm trying to not spend Seth's real paychecks on sushi and presents.
