I've been working on and off all day and feel like I've made a modicum of progress, which is good but I'm still freaking out. I have a schedule packed full of deadlines and meetings starting this week to help me stay organized and to construct, edit, edit, edit, revise, and with any luck, polish the things for my exam before my exam actually gets here. I'm also supposed to be looking for a job. Because you know, I'll be broke when I graduate. Not helping my anxiety. It's all about exit strategy, at this point.
I forgot that Easter is tomorrow. Not that I forgot to buy Easter candy, because I didn't, but I forgot to check if our office is closed Monday (I doubt it) and planned to go grocery shopping tomorrow, but just realized they might be closed. Maybe we'll go in the morning.
I'm watching a Rachel Zoe Project marathon. It's making my life feel less hectic in comparison (and at least if I totally bomb my exam, I won't be responsible for Jennifer Garner or Demi Moore looking fug at the Oscars). It's all about perspective, I suppose.
After he got off work this a.m., Seth took me out for lunch today at our favorite sushi place a few blocks from here. The sashimi there is so delicious, literally you almost don't have to chew it, it sort of melts in your mouth, it's so fresh and tender. zomg. We always get too much because it's so ridiculously cheap.
I also got a big box in the mail that I shipped to myself here while I was at home. It has some cute rugs and a bulletin board that Seth bought me TWO xmas's ago for me to bring to Seattle (it's cute, with hooks and a white magnet board and a corkboard that slides). Better late than never, I suppose! If I can clean the apt enough, I'll post pics later.
