1. SETH GOT A JOB! He finally landed a pretty bad-ass job with a local company that does event management, meaning he helps venues in the area find workers for jobs like setting up for concerts and sporting events and conventions. He's only been there a few weeks and I can tell he looooves it. The position comes with a BlackBerry and a laptop, and he gets to wear jeans every day. Oh, and he office is about 10 mins from my office, so he drops me off and picks me up from work, which means I don't have to take the bus (:D). Aaaaand he makes more money than me. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: We might have money to come visit you soon. Fingers crossed. Also, hopefully we'll stop bouncing rent checks. (not cute.)
2. Work is bananas. Kids are taking finals and getting ready for break. I can't wait for campus to be empty so I can get some real work done. Sheesh.
3. I started counting calories and running again. My goal for the end of the summer is to be able to run from here to here:
4. I got a netbook! My mom saw it on QVC and sent it to me, which was mega awesome of her. My laptop exploded this fall (I guess it hated grad school as much as my brain did) and it's so busted that I have to take it in somewhere, but have been putting it off since I'm broke. And, um, it's not that I don't love sharing a computer with Seth, but it was a little annoying. Anyway I totally love it even though I'm still trying to get the hang of it...
5. The weather was totally gorgeous for about two weeks, but it's definitely COLD and RAINY again. It's getting a little old. I'm ready for some sunshine, Seattle. I always defend you and you're making me look bad.

Big Love (The season finale was last Sunday....that whole season was PURE CHAOS and left me dazed and shaken. I'm still a fan though.)

I bought this book and it is amazing and what it says about me and Seth is so true it freaks me out. Um, the emotional stuff that is. Some of the sexual stuff is a little too freaky for us.
